Part Time Punks, an all day event celebrating indie-pop, punk and new wave… plus everything between is on at Wharf Chambers, Leeds on 30th April 2022 between 3pm and 11pm
The event is the ‘lockdown dream’ of Erin and Jay from Leeds based band Nervous Twitch. Jay explains ‘we had enjoyed playing all dayers in the past and wanted to put on bands that we like, some we’d played with etc. After the last 2 years we’re trying to give something back to the scene’
As well as Nervous Twitch, the line up of Part Time Punks features Louder Than War favourites The Dirt featuring Leon The Pig Farmer and his multi instrumentalist partner Sachiko Sheffield’s; purveyors of fuzzy, jangly lo-fi pop All Ashore!; Leeds/York 4 piece Crumbs and the truly international Anderson Tapes, made up of members from Argentina, Poland, London and Middlesborough. The line up is completed by the shimmering electro glam pop punkfive piece Diablo Furs; wonky synth/guitar noisepop from Erin and Jay’s labels mates Duck and the band you can’t wash out, Manchester’s The Red Stains.
