a noisy weekend ahoy! Durkam punk festival

It’s the end of the summer, the wasps are looking dopey and a little bit stir crazy, the trees are going rustic red, the nights are drawing in and everyone is battoning down the hatches…but there is one weekend left of loose action till the months of darkness fall up on us…

On Saturday September 10th the Durham Punk Festival featuring The line-up includes Rezillos, Angelic Upstarts, Subhumans, Anti Nowhere League, Goldblade, Restarts, The Varukers, Crashed Out, and Gimp Fist. It’s going to be loud and a little but crazy…

  1. Hello exceptional website! Does running a blog like this require a large amount of
work? I’ve virtually no knowledge of computer programming but I was hoping to start my own blog soon. Anyways, should you have any ideas or techniques for new blog owners please share. I understand this is off topic nevertheless I simply had to ask. Thanks!

  2. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

  3. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
