Keith Goldhanger will be spending Saturday the 28th January in a small (320 capacity) room located in central London watching some bands mostly new to him. It’s not too late to go along yourself. . .

If you’ve read a gig review in the past and passed comment that it sounded so good you regret not being there yourself then this may be for you.

On Saturday 28th January at a new venue in London Bridge (OMEARA – A venue set up by Mumford & Sons’ Ben Lovett)  Radio X DJ John Kennedy is gifting us 10 bands for us all to kick start us all into 2017.
Previous years have given us first glimpses of Jamie T, Mystery Jets, Wolf Alice, Clock Opera, Dutch Uncles, Temples, Friendly Fires and Stornoway to name a few that have performed at this event (Previously held at the Camden Barfly).

With doors opening at 1pm and the last band finishing about the same time the pubs close (Tubes are running all night remember) this is easily accessible to anyone who fancies filling their ears with good music and acts that will still be remembered for years to follow. Trust us on this, just listen to a short selection below.

We’re sure you are all capable of making your own minds up about these bands and hopefully committed enough to come along. The X-posure all dayer is always an early highlight to any year ahead.

Keith Goldhanger
Keith Goldhanger -- Spent the 90's as a frontman with London noisemerchants HEADBUTT - spent the 80's in "Peel favourites" BASTARD KESTREL. Spent a few years mashing up tunes and remixing bands as HIDEOUS WHEEL INVENTION. Is often out and about getting in the way of things and bumping his head on low ceilings - drinks real ale, takes photo's has made a few short films. Will give your band the time of day but will dislike any band that balances full pints of alcohol on the top of guitar amps (Not keen on lead singers that wear hats either).
