The great Wilko Johnson has cancelled his Canvey island shows at the Oysterfleet Hotel due to ill health.
The shows were meant to be the almost final ones on his now legendary cancer defying tour.
We were on our way down for the Monday night show…hope you’re hanging in there Wilko…
Hang on in there Wilko. You are a hero and inspiration to us all.
Keep fighting Wilko, stay strong and keep on keepin on. Legend.
If our love could keep you alive Wilko you would live forever.
Hope this is only a temporary setback. You were so strong in Glasgow. It would be so unfair if you were denied a last great gig in your hometown.
