WENDY JAMES – TOP TEN ALBUMS

Singer and song-writer Wendy James first came to prominence as the lead singer with hit late eighties-early nineties band Transvision Vamp. When the band split, James approached Elvis Costello, who wrote a full album of material for her to record. This was Now Ain’t the Time for Your Tears (1993). Despite its quality, the album failed to be a hit, and Wendy dropped out of the music scene. Her return first came with a new band Racine in 2004, and then recording as a solo artist, Wendy released the critically praised I Came Here to Blow Minds in 2010. Wendy is currently working on a new solo album with ex-Sex Pistol Glen Matlock and Bad Seed James Scavalunos
