Weezer have announced details of a show at London’s Brixton Academy in July, the same month as they play a number of festivals around the UK.

The full list of shows are as follows:

6th London Brixton Academy

8th Punchestown Oxygen Festival

9th Knebworth Sonisphere Festival

10th Kinross Tin the Park

Tickets for the London show go on sale on Friday 18th March via www.kililive.com and www.gigsandtours.com.

The band previously played the UK last August when they appeared on the main stage of the Reading / Leeds Festival.
After signing to Epitaph Records in the 2010 Weezer released their 8th studio album, Hurley, in September of that year.
The album was produced by front man Rivers Cuomo and Shawn Everett (Raditude, Phantom Planet, Ozomatli). Known for their quirky album artwork the cover of Hurley featured a simple, yet astonishing close-up of actor Jorge Garcia from the acclaimed Lost TV series.

  1. Quran (4:104) – “And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain…”

  2. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
