The Hubbards

The Hubbards

Hull-based four-piece The Hubbards return with new single Your Love Your Love (Your Love), a track that feels like The Hubbards taking their first steps in a bolder direction.

Over the past 18 months, it seems that the Hull-based four-piece The Hubbard can do no wrong. A smattering of deliciously woozy singles cementing them as one of the most original indie-pop bands around at the moment, while earning them favour with the likes of Radio 1 and 6Music in process.

Now returning with their first single of 2018, The Hubbards continue their prolific run of releases with ‘Your Love, Your Love (Your Love)’, a typically woozy affair that encapsulates the spirit of the band perfectly. Built on distinctive guitar lines and decorated with falsetto vocal melodies, it’s a track that feels like quintessential Hubbards, harbouring a new-found confidence that, while not completely overshadowing the band’s trademark self-deprecation, offsets it enough to make it feel like this is The Hubbards taking their first steps in a bolder direction.
