Watch This: UK Premiere Of New Dan Friel Video

Last week we ran a review of Dan Friel’s new album, Total Folklore. It is, quite frankly, one hell of an album & this week we’re stoked to be able to bring you the UK premiere of (one of) the best tracks from the album, Thumper.

In a nutshell Total Folklore is completely and utterly mind-blowing. It matches the genius that is Pete Swanson in style, inventiveness, class, sheer unmitigated genius & boundary pushing epicness. Abrasive & confrontational at times it also slinks down into unquestionably beautiful rhythms at others and as we concluded in our review, this is going to be one of the years finest releases no doubt.

To quote from the original press release repping the album:

“Armed with an arsenal of thriftstore pedals and noisemakers splayed across his lap, Dan Friel has spent the last decade home brewing electronic music that is equal parts ragged, punk, psychedelic and glorious….”

“….Total Folklore captures the energy and irreverence of punk, while keeping a foot firmly planted on the streets of electronic pop.”

Ladies & gentlemen, we give you Thumper.
