Toreador Premiere New Single ‘Phone Me’
No strangers to Louder Than War support, Southampton-trio Toreador return with their newest single Phone Me, of which you can take an exclusive look at the new video here!
Entirely self-produced and recorded, the track acts as a creative expression of the band’s darker side whilst maintaining its charm with their signature harmonies. Bringing a melodic finish to the hard-hitting, grunge-riddled beats of Rob Purkiss on drums and the tasteful tones of Dan Kelly on bass, the harmonious vocal combination of the trio really highlights how this band bring that extra something to rock music.
“Phone me is about those times in life when a relationship has hit the fan, I think we’ve all been guilty of latching onto the next available person,” explains Jack Wilson (lead vocals and guitar). “We know it’s just a distraction, what we actually need is to speak to the person we love to find closure, for better or worse”
Speaking of the new video, Wilson continues, “The video was a lot of fun to shoot, it’s an idea we had been toying with for a while. It was all shot in one take, we just embraced the chaos of it all and created quite an impressive mess by the time we were done”
Straight off the back of their main support slot with Saint Agnes earlier this month, Toreador are back and ready and mark their return with this explosive new track.
