Pretty Vicious

5821cd98-7b72-4464-a9d4-b4406d2bce06We were first again! Pretty Vicious were first mentioned on Louderthanwar and are now a fast rising band in a hurry.

They have been touring hard since our write up on the last year and have got even more seat of the pants thrilling as the unveil their new single
‘National Plastics’. Recorded during a live show in Cardiff near their hometown of Merthyr Tydfil in Wales, the video provides a taste of the palpable air of excitement surrounding the 16-18 year old four piece and their explosive live show ahead of their headline UK tour later this month (dates below).

The video comes hot on the heels of triumphant performances at Reading & Leeds festivals as well as a set at Maida Vale studios for Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, in which they were described by Annie on-air as “one of the most exciting new bands the UK has to offer… it felt really timely getting them in and their session was absolutely incredible – incendiary – so so good!”

Appearing suddenly and without any introduction in late 2014, the brilliantly young four piece, fronted by 18-year-old Brad Griffiths, sent music radars spinning with their first track ‘Cave Song’. A headline show at the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury as well as their own UK tour followed in 2015, proving beyond doubt that the band are as visceral and compelling a prospect on stage as they are on record.
