‘Even Is Exile’ is the brilliant current album from James Dean Bradfield. The the follow up to his 2006 debut ‘The Great Western’ it has lyrics penned by Patrick Jones (whose own solo album with music written by John Robb is available from here). Patrick – a much respected poet – is the brother of Manics bassist and lyricist Nicky Wire.

The whole record was inspired by the life and death of Chilean musician, teacher and political activist Victor Jara. Both Patrick and Jara have fascinated Bradfield since his teens.

Here is the latest video from the album

Again, directed by Kieran Evans.
