Belgian hip-hop duo Blackwave combine a multiude of influences on latest single ARP.

Belgium might not be the first place you think of when it comes to old school influenced hip-hop, but that exactly where Blackwave hale from. A duo that approach their genre with an open mind, combining elements of funk, pop and jazz, their sound is both timely and timeless, and something well worth getting excited about.

Their latest single, ARP, is “essentially about running away from everyday life.” the duo explain “The title of the song references a galaxy 134 million light-years away, a place so far away from everything you can’t even start to imagine it. We felt like this was the right metaphor to use in this track.”
