Whilst in Uganda recently I was turned onto loads of amazing music.

The area of Buganda has a reputation for some amazing music as this youtube clip shows.


There is a tradition of Xylophone music like you have never heard before. The rhythmic and melodic lines on the Ugandan xylophone or Akadinda are out of this world and combined with the one string instrument, Ndingidi or Tube Fiddle make something that is so original and out there.
