Taken from their forthcoming debut album, Swedish post-punks True Moon premiere their new single Sugar.
With their sound a direct reflection of front-woman Karolina Engdahl’s frustrations with the similarities present in the current Scandinavian music scene, True Moon manage to sound both welcomingly familiar and refreshingly different. Sugar is nearly four minutes of intense post-pop that earmarks the band as one of Sweden’s most promising outfits.
Both beautiful and staggeringly stark in a sense that could only be Scandinavian, it gives Louder Than War great pleasure to be able to exclusively premiere Sugar ahead of their debuts release. You can stream it below:
