For this very personal anthology, Jeff Wayne quite literally blows the dust off his accomplished audio and visual archive to share with the world for the very first time. We flash back to his father’s outstanding musical career as a No.1 selling artist in the USA, and Jeff reveals how they were hounded out of New York in the early 1950s during the McCarthy era.

Giving us an intimate insight on what it was like behind the scenes when working with such greats as Richard Burton, Phil Lynott, Sir Anthony Hopkins, The Who, Catherine Zeta Jones, David Essex and others, Jeff’s career reads like the missing piece of a Rock ‘n’ Roll/Hollywood jigsaw. He tells us how his father handed him the showbiz baton when they came to the UK, with which he raced on to become the revered, award-winning writer, composer and producer that we know today.

This unique collection is foraged from the deep and seemingly infinite archives of pictures, photos and music that Jeff has kept private all these years, and is opening up to us now for the first time. The result is NO ONE WOULD HAVE BELIEVED: The Story of Jeff Wayne.

This publication is presented in a large format package and is limited to 1,000 signed and numbered copies. Each copy is encased in an innovative ‘Martian Fighting Machine’ clamshell which includes 2 CDs and 1 DVD. It features unpublished audio/visual content from throughout Jeff’s life and career.
