France Camp

Minneapolis garage rock four piece France Camp unveil a new video to coincide with upcoming January tour dates.

France Camp is France Camp on vocals, James Wolfeatens on guitar, Kyle Kim on bass, and Dylan Rosebringeth on drums. Together they make pummeling, high decibel blasts of twangy, reverb-drenched rock in the style of Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall or The Black Lips. Their new LP, Purge, is a whirling, seasick extravaganza of hard driving melodies and vertigo-inducing jams. They have just shared a video for the distorted surf shred of Purge’s final cut “C’est La Vie”, which was shot and directed by Gordon Byrd of Teenage Moods.

The band is playing a series of dates presented by Ghost Drag Records this month, as well as a hometown show on the 23rd. Event details listed below:

Jan 05 – Will’s Pub – Orlando, FL
Jan 06 – New World Brewery – Tampa, FL
Jan 07 – The Bends – St. Pete, FL
Jan 08 – Gramps – Miami, FL
Jan 23 – Triple Rock Social Club – Minneapolis, MN

Lifelong music fan and avid gig-goer with bases in South East England and New York City. Spent formative years reared on punk, which taught me to never adopt a uniform (unless it looked really good with hand made badges and a stencil paint job on it). Love garage rock, bubblegum pop and psych, basically anything with heart that makes me want to sway and groove.
