5. The Doors – An American Prayer

Jack Jones ‘I know a lot of people think it’s not the best Doors album – I don’t sometimes, but there was something about it that made Wayne and I put it on all the time in the flat, and so listen after listen, many of the poems have been stuck in head and so the album has a special spot in my mind – especially as it was around the time I started to perform spoken word.’
