These dates support the highly anticipated, forthcoming album, which is hoped will be released towards the end of this year.
American singer/songwriter Tori Amos has been one of the music industry’s most intelligent and innovative artists, in addition to being a classically trained musician from a very early age, who possesses a mezzo-soprano vocal range. Toris used her early pop success to support and tackle topics around feminism, sexuality, religion and politics which inspired a new generation of young female artists. Tori has never been afraid to combine the personal and political, with songs such as ‘Me and a Gun’ which depicts a personal sexual assault, inspired by watching the movie ‘Thelma and Louise’. Tori’s most recent studio album, Native Invader (2017) was formed out of her desire to prove that “We can out-create the destructiveness that is all around us”
Tori became the first public voice for RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network), the United States’ largest anti-sexual assault organisation, and she continues to be a member of its National Leadership Council.
The European tour kicks off on February 16th. She arrives in the UK on 11th March for 2 nights at the impressive London Palladium followed by Glasgow’s O2 Academy on the 14th and Manchester’s O2 Apollo on the 15th.
