The brilliant Together PANGEA take Newcastle by storm with a brilliant opening night to their UK/EU leg of their world tour!

Tonight Together PANGEA kick off the UK/Europe leg of their world tour in support of their exceptional new album Bulls and Roosters. Having continually been one of the most exciting bands on the US Garage Rock scene we’re understandably excited to finally catch these guys in person. Their sharp riffs and humorous tracks are without doubt some of the best around.

Tonight it falls to London’s Thee MVPs to open the show, these three garage punks are on fire tonight. Their unbridled excitement and energy is infectious as they have the crowd bouncing around to the likes of The Sesh, and Slimelord. Their upbeat garage punk style is a welcomed addition to tonight as they get everyone suitably warmed up. Their set is over all too soon for our liking.

Fortunately, though Together PANGEA are not far behind, they seem to be full of a similar energy to that of Thee MVPs tonight. They set the bar high from the off with a raucous opener of Alive, it snowballs from there as the barrage is relentless the likes of Better Find Out and Money On It proving early favourites. It’s a true master class in garage rock.

The rare abating of the aural assault is rare tonight as they sustain a riotous tempo throughout their set, Bulls and Roosters has shone throughout tonight’s set. However, the latter part of their set sees the band focuses on the bands fabulous back catalogue. The likes of Sick Shit and Too Drunk To Cum are the highlights of tonight, with the whole crowd in full voice.

Together PANGEA prove why there are at the top of their game tonight, their passion and sound is unrivalled they make it look effortless on stage. They bound around with glee as the crowd reciprocate, there is an undeniable excitement surrounding the entire affair. Truly one of the best shows we’ve had the pleasure of being at in a long while, you’d be a fool not to catch them live!
