Louder Than War : Crass were the band that had the most profound effect on the young Tim Burgess and he went to see them pay a few times. te group’s abrasive and intelligent music and powerful political message was key to many of the lost youth looking for ideas in the wake of the punk fallout- it also helped that they wrote bloody good songs as well.
