Exclusive from Northwich!

Tim Burgess from The Charlatans is always cooking up some scheme somewhere or other. This time he’s gone to another level by taking over his home town Northwich for 11 days in May. This whole event will be spread across various venues including pop up shop events, films, a record fair and of course shitloads of live music.

There will be performances from The Slow Readers Club, BMX Bandits, The Blinders (oh yes!) and of course The Charlatans doing a four night residence at Northwich Memorial Hall. There will be DJ sets from Martin Blunt (Charlatans), Clint Boon and Tim Burgess, and a 50 stall record fair at The Plaza. This will be an exciting time for Northwich (and for me being a Manc abroad living here!) and will hopefully give the town a boost and a taste of what new music has to offer. I hail from North Manchester aged 47, now living in Northwich. Been into music since discovering vinyl at 4 years old, into all genres of music with a favourable slant to post punk. As long as it’s good I’m on it. Live gigs are what I’m all about and trying to give new bands a lift whenever I can. E-mail: Blog:
