The Moods

The Moods: The Rise And Fall Of America- new single and video.

The Moods return out of the ashes of lockdown to release a powerful new song that turns away from the club banger anthem of Strong, to create a more hip hop feel with thought provoking lyrics to match.

The Moods have progressed and were working their way up to the big time before CV19 hit our shores. Just listen back to Strong (review here) from November last year, an anthem that could blast out on the club scene easily. They return with another anthem, an ode to big hip hop beats, synths and even a fuckin’ trumpet solo, just going to show the myriad of talent involved in this party time Manc collective. If you listen to the lyrics you’ll notice the clever twist on the American National Anthem, whilst highlighting the ills and disease of their Trump infested country. Another big step for this nine piece band of singers, street poets, council estate rappers and classically trained musicians. The Moods live shows have built something of a reputation for being one of the most energetic on the circuit and once you see them live, you will understand how easy it is to get swept away in the raucous atmosphere that they create.
