On Saturday Dec 20th the Membranes will present a special gig about the history of Denmark St and the 12 Bar.

‘A celebration of Denmark Street’ will see the legendary UK post punk band play a gig with support from Fairground Accidents, The November Five, Ministers Dead and in conversations with key players in the campaign to save Denmark Street.

The Membranes will play a rare London show incorporating the venue into their music and use the venue as percussion in their set that will see them debut large chunks of their upcoming Dark Matter/Dark Energy double album to be released on Cherry Red in April 2015.

There will also be other interesting events celebrating the legendary venue and street before the developers try and move in and knock the famous street down to build another boring corporate hotel.

There are only 15 tickets left and the gig looks like it will sell out.
