Manhattan Love Suicides/ The Spook School: Brudenell Social Club, Leeds – 13 September, 2014
Returning to their hometown of Leeds for the first time in a number of years, indie-pop four-piece The Manhattan Love Suicides play Brudenell Social Club ahead of their appearance at Nottingham Pop all-dayer in October.
The Manhattans will be joined by co-headliners The Spook School, and support will come in the form of psych-poppers City Yelps. With all three gracing the stage of Nottingham Pop too, this show will act as a warm-up of sorts, ahead of the band’s inevitable journey southwards next month.
Determined for the music to be the main, rather than the sole, attraction, the evening will also boast a variety of stalls, including merch from the fantastic Oddbox Records, artwork for sale by local artist Geraldine Montgomerie Greenwood and not to mention a stall committed to bringing you the most up-to-date and DIY fanzines on offer.
Doors are at 8pm and we recommend getting down early so as to make sure you get yourself a decent spot and have time to appreciate the stalls just as much as the music.
