Saturday 27th October 2012

The Killers eagerly anticipated return to Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre this weekend was explosive! Tickets sold out within five minutes setting box office records
Their resurrection comes following their release of new album âBattle Bornâ on the 17th September, four years since their previous multi platinum album âDay and Ageâ
The charismatic front man Brandon Flowers, and his band mates had the crowd eating out the palm of their hands – the Vegas born foursome showcased their new album to an eager audience who were more than ready and willing for their return.
Their roof rattling ballads and adrenaline fuelled classics had the hairs on the back of the necks of fans standing to attention. They enticed the crowd with a walk down memory lane from albums, âHot Fussâ, âDay and Ageâ and âSam’s Town’. New album âBattle Bornâ has been likened to that of Springsteen’s ‘Darkness on the Edge of Townâ.
The progression from the bands former synth sounds of Day and Age sees their new album ring out the sound of the 80’s due to the input one of the albums producers Daniel Lanois.
Fans were given a night to remember with the night ending with a bang with ticker tape descending on the crowd and explosions to the rear of the stage sending the crowd home with a smile on their faces.
