Brimingham Pop FestThe June Brides will be headlining the first night of Birmingham Pop Fest’s 2 day show, on Saturday May 23rd with the The Primitives doing the honours on the 24th.

Also on the bill on that night are Pete Fij & Terry Bickers (ex Adorable singer / House of Love guitarist) and Karen, featuring ex members of The Brilliant Corners, Beatnik Filmstars, The Heads and Experimental Pop Band.

The following night, Birmingham Pop Fest’s Sunday show sees The Primitives headlining.

The June Brides reformed in 2011 with 4 of their original members (including main songwriter, singer and guitarist Phil Wilson), and the band released the second of their 2 comeback singles last year, She Seems Quite Free EP which was released on Occultation Recordings and Slumberland Records (in the states).


Birmingham Pop Fest tickets: Saturday or Sunday £13.50 each (plus £1 booking fee), weekend ticket £25 plus £2 booking fee.
