The Jesus And Mary Chain to play low key gig in DublinJesus and Mary Chain hit Dublin’s Vicar Street on 31st July 2014

The Clash talked of “Sten Guns in Knightsbridge”, The Jesus and Mary Chain saw AK47s in Rio.

Now in Dublin rehearsing for their upcoming festival and tour dates – and loving it – the Jesus and Mary Chain will play a low key date at Vicar Street (58-59 Thomas St, Dublin 8) on 31st July. Tickets go on sale at 10am tomorrow (Friday 18th July), link here:


The Jesus and Mary Chain recently returned from a pre-World Cup tour of Brazil, Argentina and Chile that saw riots outside their gigs. In Rio, the band were offered AK47s to buy on the beach.

The November UK shows will see the band play their debut album Psychocandy album in full.

2015 will see a year of activity for the 30th anniversary of Psychocandy. More news soon.
