The Horrors to release new album

At last The Horrors return…

The band, who made splash a few years ago with exotic hair and a supercool Victoriana goth meets garage rock look and music to match, have named their third album ‘Skying’ (XL Recordings) and look set to release it on July 11. A track from the album, ‘Still Life’, is below…

The band’s second album, ‘Primary Colours’ was acclaimed across the board with it’s switch to post My Bloody Valentine atmospherics. It was a great record but their debut with its short, sharp shocks of garage punk is still loved here at LTW! Towers as well.

There will be a series of June shows in Glasgow, Manchester and London.

They will then play a clutch of festivals including a headline slot at London’s Field Day as well as playing , Glastonbury, The Eden Project, The Wireless Festival in London in July and then Reading/Leeds Festivals in August.
