The Fratellis confirm album release date and UK tour…

Back in March we reported that The Fratellis were at that point halfway through recording a new album (LTW News); well today we can reveal the album, entitled ‘We Need Medicine’ will be released on the 7th October 2013 – the album will be preceeded by a single ‘Seven Nights Seven Days’ scheduled for release on the 29th September 2013.

The Fratellis third album ‘We Need Medicine’, wasrecorded in Glasgow’s West End and produced by Jon Fratelli and Stuart McCredie, who also mixed the record; an 11-track record described as being full “of bluesy rock anthems”.

The band have lined up a 10 date UK – Tickets go on sale Friday 2nd August via the bands website.

Phil Newall is 47, from The Wirral - he earns his living not writing about music nor playing music...though sorely wishes he could.
