The Darling Buds top 10 favourite albums : number 3 : Bob Marley and the Wailers – “Rastaman Vibration”
Bob Marley’s commercial breakthrough album is horizontally laid back but still manages to rock hard. In the song writing and playing there’s a definite attempt to break the mould of the traditional reggae formula. It works brilliantly, as while obviously a reggae record it shows flashes of soul, rock and even a hint of the Americana of Little Feat.
