The Cribs: New Albums & Tour News

In an in depth interview with Kevin McAnena at Q Radio Gary Jarman of the fantastic Wakefield trio The Cribs has revealed his plans for the band to release two albums in 2013.

“We’ve got a whole lot of rehearsal tapes and we’re listening to them, and there’s a load of new song ideas and we’re just deciding which ones we’re going to work on. I’m hoping we’re going to finish what we started with Steve Albini by the end of this year and then hopefully get another record out early next year and hopefully it’ll be two records next year…that’s definitely the intention. We’ve got a lot of ideas right now and I think we’re just thriving off the fact that we feel like we’re in a good place…we don’t feel that pressure anymore”

The fiercely independent band of brothers that is the Cribs have had a great 2012, with their latest album ‘In the Belly of the Brazen Bull‘ going top 10 in May. Fresh from a hugely succesful Reading and Leeds festival appearance, the Cribs are also set to embark on a UK tour this October/November, with tickets out from all the usual outlets on Friday 31st August at 9AM for:
