Now we have swiped Glastonbury to one side for another twelve months some of us are now focusing again on Standon Calling 2023, set in the Hertfordshire Countryside on 20th-23rd July.
As the 2023 Standon Calling festival gets closer, we have gathered ten acts you may not know too much about who will appearing over the weekend. The headliners provide a mouthwatering prospect yet again, however there may be times when attendees may wish to wander over to see some of the lesser-known bands that Louder Than War may have mentioned more than once over the past couple of years that may have escaped your attention.
Whilst many will already be familiar with the music and live experience of Human League, Self Esteem, Rick Astley, Block Party, Years and Years, Bob Vylan, Lynks, Confidence Man, The Murder Capital or Django Django we provide ten acts you may need to earmark as bands that Louder Than War want you to join us at over the weekend. We could have chosen more (we did here)
Standon Calling tickets and all other details are available on their web site here

A Plea From Louder Than War
Louder Than War is run by a small but dedicated independent team, and we rely on the small amount of money we generate to keep the site running smoothly. Any money we do get is not lining the pockets of oligarchs or mad-cap billionaires dictating what our journalists are allowed to think and write, or hungry shareholders. We know times are tough, and we want to continue bringing you news on the most interesting releases, the latest gigs and anything else that tickles our fancy. We are not driven by profit, just pure enthusiasm for a scene that each and every one of us is passionate about.
To us, music and culture are eveything, without them, our very souls shrivel and die. We do not charge artists for the exposure we give them and to many, what we do is absolutely vital. Subscribing to one of our paid tiers takes just a minute, and each sign-up makes a huge impact, helping to keep the flame of independent music burning! Please click the button below to help.
