Sub Focus: The Ritz, Manchester – live reviewSub Focus

The Ritz, Manchester

17th October 2013

To say that Sub Focus at the Ritz last night was mental would be an understatement, and just proves that he can do a lot more than just hit a play button. Showing off his new album ‘Torus’ was very easily done, pulling out his major tracks, such as “Endorphins” and “Could this be real” which made the crowd go crazy.

The hot and sweaty crowd was full of energy and hardcore mosh pits whenever the heavy drum and bass kicked in, and at times it was hard to stay on your feet. The pitch-black room filled with strobes is what made the night something else, there were people on shoulders and everyone was singing and dancing relentlessly.

The perfect end to the night was achieved by belting out the catchy, feel good anthem “Tidal Wave” which was sung by everyone to close the show. Top night!
