The film looks like it will be a classic.
We saw Shane- who is the UK’s best film maker- filming at many of the shows from the first one in Warrington and then out in Europe and, of course, Heaton Park. Meadows has posted an update on the eagerly anticipated documentary on his own message board revealing that the film should be finished early next year, and that heâs âvery happy with how things are going.â
âItâs in really good shape now. Maybe three-four weeks from locking the edit. Might even get to do some Xmas shopping this year.â
As for a release, Meadows explained: âI think the aim will be to launch at a big festival April/May next year, have a mahoosive (sic) UK premiere, then get it into cinemas soon after.â
Heaton Park was the best gig I have ever been to. The fireworks at the end and redemption song playing at the end were very magical moments. What a great performance.
