Ian Tilton’s ‘Set in Stone’ Stone Roses book launch will be at Gorilla in Manchester city centre on, Saturday April 13th

Legendary rock n’ roll photographer Ian Tilton is set to launch his new book ‘Set in Stone’ with classic and never before seen images of The Stone Roses the book co-written with Claire Caldwell is sure to be a hit with fans new and old. Ian was there from the early years and watched them grow from local boys done good to the stars they are today capturing it all on his camera as he went along. As this is the Manchester book launch what better way to celebrate than to have a party as well as a signing! Ian w…ill be joined in conversation with TV/Radio presenter Terry Christian plus a live performance from the excellent ‘Deadbeat Echoes’ who are set to release their new single ‘No Bones’ next week.


Manchester’s finest ‘Drunken Munks’ have also been added to the bill! DM have taken the last year or so out for other projects but are now back bigger and better with a full live 7 piece band. They will be bringing a classic Hip Hop/Funk vibe to the party as well as releasing the brand new single ‘Miracles’ April 29th.After the interview and live performances stick around while Sean Crossey & Kill Suarez play an eclectic set of indie, dance soul & funk.
Tickets for the event are £8 and will be available in advance from Gorilla. The night will kick off at 7pm so be sure to head down early to catch the interview. Ian will then be signing copies of the book which will have £5 knocked off for the Manchester book launch!
