Stone Roses about to announce Heaton Park supports
Stone Roses about to announce Heaton Park supports

The Stone Roses will announce the much debated support bill for Heaton Park ‘before the end of January’ according to a source. Well it february now and still nothing has been announced- so it’s all eyes on their Facebook page…

The announcement will be made on their facebook page.

We know most of the bands but have been sworn to secrecy…

In other news, American wrestler Hulk Hogan is a big fan of the band, using their music when he worked out “I love the Stone Roses. They’re getting back together, right? That’s cool man. I used to work out to some of their songs”. Wonder what Bruce Lee and boxing fan Ian Brown makes of this?

  1. Hmm… Snow Patrol? Biffy Clyro? Cast? Menswe@r? Shed Seven? Editors? Pigeon Detectives? The number of shite britpop also-rans great bands they inspired is mind blowing.

  2. How about The Clone Roses getting the support slot to play the b-sides & obscurities set first? When Wire reformed for the first time in the mid 80’s they were supported in America by a group called the Ex-Lion Tamers who played Wire’s first album Pink Flag in it’s entirety note perfect (included the gaps between the songs) to keep the old fans happy, allowing Wire the opportunity to play a set of entirely new material. Everybody’s happy!
