‘I remember going to launch at the Cobdens Working Men’s Club off Harrow Road, there was a total buzz around this that did actually transfer to the album. I’d been following all build up before with the Wild Bunch stuff – DJ sets and exhibitions at the Black Bull on Fulham Road., Bristol took over West London. It was a dicrete cultural moment and it did work, pondering, moody and sort of bleak but fat and warm at the same time.’
