The vocalist and guitarist of much loved folk-punk group The Men They Couldn’t Hang has died following a sudden heart attack. Full obituary tomorrow.

The band announced his death on facebook “With unbearable sadness we have to let you all know that our brother, friend, inspiration, life of the party and soul of the band Stefan Cush died of a sudden heart attack on Thursday. We are beyond devastated. Our love goes out to his family. We will say more when we can. We loved him.”

  1. I had the pleasure of working closely with Stefan 2019/2020. I will miss that charismatic smile,our chats, putting the world to rights and flora shirts. I am doubled saddened by not being able to say a proper goodbye due to the pandemic.
    He will be forever in my thoughts on my CD rack and song list.

  2. TMTCH have been a part of my life….seen them several times over the years and in several cities……always Brilliant….gutted about stefan ….incredible presence on stage…
