Spear of Destiny announce new album ‘Tontine’

Spear of Destiny have just announced the title of their forthcoming album;

‘Tontine’ is set for release on Friday 6th April 2018 and will be available on CD, Vinyl and DL, in addition a number of limited edition packages including an ultra limited coloured vinyl edition (50 copies), signed copies, and T-shirts will be available.

‘Tontine’ will be the bands fourteenth studio album and follows 2014’s ’31’ album release (LTW Review).

The album is available for pre-order now direct from the Spear of Destiny website – all orders instantly receive two FREE tracks via download.

Specific dates are yet to be released, however Spear of Destiny will be promoting ‘Tontine’ when the set out on a UK Tour 11th May to 3rd June 2018

Phil Newall is 47, from The Wirral - he earns his living not writing about music nor playing music...though sorely wishes he could. As an attendee at Eric's he was exposed to punk rock, dub reggae, art rock, and all manner of weirdness; as a customer at Probe Records he was variously served and scowled at by Pete Wylie and Pete Burns - he has written for Record Collector, Whisperin & Hollerin, and Spiral Scratch and wanted to write a book detailing the Liverpool punk scene; however with 'Head-On' Julian Cope beat him to it...and frankly did a much better job.
