The Spanish government has dealt with visa requirements, allowing UK artists to tour the country without excess paperwork.
The decision has been made in regards to musicians going on short-term tours. As the official announcement states, artists and their crews will need no visas for travels and business affairs of no longer than 90 days.
In his official statement, UK Music Chief Executive Jamie Njoku-Goodwin underlined the importance of this change in the post-Brexit reality:
“The lifting of visa restrictions by the Spanish Government is a hugely welcome move. It marks a big victory for all our members and reflects all the effort we have put in trying to get rid of these barriers.”
