A Song for World Mental Health Day – Too Much On My MindIn support of World Mental Health Day, Louder Than War feature The Kinks classic Too Much On My Mind.

Written in 1966 by a young Ray Davies struggling to cope with the demands of fame and family life, the song’s lyrics document very clearly the everyday realities of anxiety and stress that many people live with.

Mental Health issues could possibly become the single biggest public health challenge that we face as around 25% of adults and 10% of children can face related issues in a year. The aim of World Mental Health Day is to share basic facts about an increasingly common condition in an attempt to avoid stigmatising sufferers and encouraging them to seek and receive help and support. The theme for 2015 is helping to ensure that people with mental health problems can live with dignity.
