When Lush imploded last year it looked like the end of the creative comeback of the band but we are pleased to report that Miki Berenyi has teamed up with with ex-Elastica drummer Justin Welch, Modern English bassist Mick Conroy, and guitarist KJ “Moose” McKillop, formerly of ‘90s dream-pop act Moose to form a new band Piroshka and their upcoming February released album is great. In the meantime they have teased up with this song which ic a great piece of rushing alt pop – full of melancholic tendrils, wonderful textures, a wall of pristine sound and a great melody.

Brickbat, the band’s debut album is due in February and will perfectly be released by Bella Union.
