One of the most influential bands of the past two decades and a band who created the template for post rock, Slint, are to reform for the upcoming ‘End Of An Era’ All Tomorrows Parties.

The band who split in 1992 before a brief reformation in 2005 for ATP and 2007 will play the Loop segment of the two last strands of ATP events.

ATP boss monkey Barry Hogan sounds quite exited by the booking…

“I’ll never forget the first time I heard ‘Spiderland’. It’s one of those records that changed my life and even inspired me to reform the band in 2005 by flying to Louisville, and bringing all the original members together for the first time in 13 years. ‘Spiderland’ still excites me now as much as the first time I heard it. To say we are fortunate to have this incredibly influential band play the final ATP is a huge understatement.”

The fest will take place between 29 November – 1 December in Pontins, Camber Sands. Buy tickets for that here.
