Skunk Anansie announce new single and spring tourThe British rock mavericks Skunk Anansie share the new topical single Can’t Take You Anywhere.

With its whirlpool-like energy, Can’t Take You Anywhere is an electrifying dancefloor number. The singer Skin says that the lyrics derive from the personal experience and reflect on a mental condition, shared by many people these days. “This track is a double-edged sword”, says Skin, “We all have that one friend that we love but is a total embarrassment to us, a mate that has no off button and no filter. So if they aren’t losing their phone/keys/coat, they’re saying some stuff that will defo get you cancelled by all your other mates. This song is about how polarised the world is now, and how careful you need to be”.

Skunk Anansie will shortly start their UK and Europe tour. The dates are available here.
