My Oh My…
Yes it’s still:
Robert playing bass & singing
Steven playing guitar and singing
Todd playing drums and being smashing

By the time these shows take place it will be nearly 2 and a half years since Shellac last toured the UK. And yes, the band continued to “Rock”, touring Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the US during this time.

A few band milestones have been smashed since the band last played here:
Everyone is now married
Todd has now officially outlived Jon Bonham
The band released their fifth studio album Dude Incredible on Touch & Go Records and the kids loved it
Bob turned 50 but doesn’t want to talk about it
Steve still just has better hair than Butch Vig
Letterman called it a day and Bob recorded the final few shows to his DVR in tribute
The band’s actual first show of 2016 will be in San Francisco opening for Neurosis (who are currently celebrating their 30th year) on Saturday 5th March at the Regency Ballroom. The show is sold out.

Shellac will also play Chicago’s Bottom Lounge on 30th March, then Gabe’s Oasis in Iowa City the following night, finishing up a short US Midwest run on the 1st April at First Avenue in Minneapolis.
