Sharky – key member of Rebellion punk festival team RIPWe are sorry to hear of the death of Sharky who was one of the key members of the Rebellion punk festival team and key face on the UK punk scene.

Sharky seemed to be permanent fixture in the manic festival office and his calm demeanour made him the go to man in the beautiful chaos.

There is a statement on the Rebellion website…

‘It’s with a heavy heart that we have to make this post…. Our friend, loved one and fellow long time Rebellion crew member SHARKY has unfortunately passed away this morning. Many of you will have met him over the years and will understand how his spirit touched us all. For those of you that didn’t know him, please trust that the physical world is now a poorer place without him. We know he’ll be missed by many. Rebellion will be tough this year without him – we are all devestated. However, we know a glass or two, a can or three, or an entire crate will be raised in his honour by friends all over the world – and he would like that. Rest In Peace my friend xxx’
