9. Rockin Rollin Stone – Andy Starr.


Cut in Fort Worth Texas and released on MGM. Andy made some fine tracks for the Label but lack of funding resulted in little commercial success. Andy’s guitarist Larry Adair after wearing out his copy of Elvis’s Good Rockin Tonight 78 rpm record in an attempt to learn Scotty Moore’s guitar solo wasn’t gonna put all that time and effort to waste and so he reprised it note for note here – pinch with pride !
