8. Mad Man – Jimmy Wages.


Can’t really do a top 10 without featuring a track from Memphis based Sun Records the label that first developed the rockabilly sound through artists such as Elvis, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee . Recorded in April 1956 but unreleased until the 80’s when enthusiasts searching  hundreds of Sun tape boxes finally came up with this gem ensuring Jimmy’s spot in my rockabilly hall of fame.
