One of the most influential bands of all time, Black Flag, are to record a new album.

There are currently two version of the band about to go back out on the circuit and it’s the 78/79 line up of the band- fronted by Ron Reyes – who reformed to play the Hevy Fest in Kent as well as Ruhrpott Rodeo in Germany and the Muddy Roots Music Festival in Tennessee. This is the line up that has apparently recorded a new album.

meanwhile Flag put together by Black Flag co-founder Keith Morris with Chuck Dukowski, Bill Stevenson and Stephen Egerton of Descendents, will be touring as FLAG, playing sets that “pull from all eras of Black Flag’s history”.

FLAG will play the Monster Bash Festival in Germany, Groezrock Festival in Belgium and the Punk Rock Bowling Festival in Las Vegas.
