THE EX BY MATIAS CORRALIn light of the recent cancellation of the ATP 2.0: Drive Like Jehu weekend, Soup Kitchen have hastily arranged a last-minute show for experimental punk legends The Ex, as well as the brilliant Spanish post-punk trio Betunizer! Both acts were due to play the Drive Like Jehu-curated ATP 2.0 weekender at Victoria Warehouse this weekend, when it was cancelled on Monday morning amidst reports of financial difficulties. Lots of bands and fans have been left marooned by the collapse of ATP and lots of people are very pissed off about the situation but at least The Ex have salvaged something and put in this last minute gig.

‘Soup Kitchen are delighted at the chance to welcome The Ex after a sold out show here two years ago, and can’t wait to host the taut, wirey rock compositions of Betunizer for the first time. Given the cancellation of ATP Festival has left both bands and fans from all over the world out of pocket, we’re offering a special £5 discount advance ticket to ATP ticket holders, so long as they can prove their purchase at the door.’
